Surgery for Jon's Dad

Jon's dad, Chic, is going in for surgery on Monday.  Any prayers, happy thoughts, positive energy, etc, you could send our way would be appreciated.  He is having a blockage removed in his carotid artery.  It is a risky surgery because he had radiation therapy in this area ten years ago and this makes the tissue much more difficult to handle during surgery and it may not heal as well as it should.  Chic is a fighter, though.
