Christmas Kick Off

Last Sunday we celebrated Christmas with Jon's family. We went over to Jon's Uncle's home in Denver and had a delicious dinner with Jon's mom, Uncle Bill, Uncle Mike, and Cousin Kim. Cecilia was the Belle of the Ball in her Christmas dress. She adored the beautiful tree that Bill and Mike set up every year. Their tree is so spectacular. It has so many sparkly ornaments on it, and many of them were Jon's Great Grandma's ornaments.
Cecilia was getting a little unruly right before dinner, but Uncle Bill showed her this sweet music box that was an old TV with the characters from the TV Special of Rudolph in the 1960's. She loved it! She watched it go round and round for probably 15 minutes.

When it came time to open presents, Cecilia was all over it... as soon as she figured it out. Uncle Bill had to coach her through the first one, but it was well worth it. She loves her new shaker toy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time celebrating. It was great to see Jon's side of the family and to share a meal together.
